7th Grade Falcons Make a Statement Against Barbers Hill South!**
Our 7th Grade Falcons took on Barbers Hill South this week at home, and both teams showed tremendous effort, toughness, and competitive spirit on the field.
The A Team came out firing and dominated from start to finish, earning a convincing victory over Barbers Hill South! Our Falcons executed on both sides of the ball, played with confidence and physicality, and showed what they are capable of when everything comes together. The performance reflected the hard work, preparation, and commitment these athletes continue to put in throughout the season. Players like Jett Taylor, Jase Walker, Arian Ruano modeled 212 effort and the team embodied it the whole game!!
The B Team found themselves in a hard-fought battle that came down to the final moments. Our Falcons competed throughout the game, made plays, and put themselves in a position to win. Unfortunately, a last-minute play proved to be the difference, and the result did not go our way. While the loss is tough to swallow, the effort and fight displayed by this group are something to build on. Games like these are valuable learning experiences that will help this team continue to grow.
Both teams represented Falcon Football with pride and determination. One team showed what it looks like to put together a dominant performance, while the other showed the importance of competing until the very last play.
Falcons of the Game:
A Team Offensive MVP: Jeremiah Riley-Godfrey
A Team Defensive MVP: Reynol Chapa
B Team Offensive MVP: Nathan Lopez
B Team Defensive MVP: Josiah Gonzalez
The work doesn't stop here. Keep pushing, keep improving, and keep competing, Falcons!
