WFMS 8TH GRADE FOOTBALL BATTLES WHITE OAK!!

8th Grade Falcons Battle in a Hard-Fought Matchup!

Our 8th Grade Falcons took the field this week, and both the A and B Teams showed what Falcon Football is all about!

The B Team continued its quest for back-to-back district championships with another impressive victory! The offense put on an explosive performance, making big plays and putting points on the board. On the other side of the ball, the defense came up with gritty stops when they were needed most, showing toughness and determination throughout the game. This team continues to build momentum as it works toward its goal of bringing home another district championship.

The A Team battled until the very end in a close contest that came down to the final play. Unfortunately, the Falcons came up just short on a last-second play, but the team continued to compete and fight throughout the game. Tough losses are never easy, but this group will learn from the experience, get back to work, and look to bounce back stronger. Every experience leads to lessons that translate into learning and getting better!

Both teams continue to represent Falcon Football with effort, toughness, and determination. The B Team is keeping its championship goals in sight, while the A Team looks to use this experience as motivation moving forward. The work continues, and our Falcons will keep pushing to get better especially with the season coming to an end!

Falcons of the Game:

A Team Offensive MVP: Owen Henry
A Team Defensive MVP: London Dies-Hughes
B Team Offensive MVP: Christopher Bankhead
