WFMS 8TH GRADE FOOTBALL BATTLES AT THE SWAMP!

**?? 8th Grade Falcons Show Heart and Resiliency!**

Our 8th Grade Falcons took the field this week ready for another night of Falcon Football, and both teams showed plenty of fight, toughness, and determination from start to finish.

The **A Team** faced a tough battle and came up short, but this group continues to show tremendous **promise and resiliency**. Our Falcons battled through adversity, continued to compete, and never stopped fighting. While the result wasn't what we wanted, the effort and determination shown throughout the game are signs of a team that continues to grow and improve. There is plenty of football left to play, and this group has a lot to be proud of!

The **B Team** came away with a hard-fought victory in a **low-scoring battle**. It wasn't the prettiest game, but our Falcons found a way to make the plays necessary to come out on top. Consistent stops by our defense show that these young men embody what it is to play with 212 effort. Games like this are valuable learning experiences and provide an opportunity to understand the importance of execution, discipline, and taking advantage of every opportunity.

Both teams continue to learn, grow, and build together. Every game—whether a win or a loss—is another opportunity to get better and prepare for the next challenge.
