Our 8th Grade Falcons traveled to Keefer Crossing to close out the season, and what a way to finish! Both teams took the field ready to compete, leaving everything they had out there and representing Falcon Football the right way.
The B Team brought home another big victory, finishing the season with an undefeated record of 8-0 and another district championship!
This group accomplished something special, winning back-to-back district championships with the same group of players. That kind of success doesn't happen by accident. It takes commitment, discipline, hard work, and a team that believes in one another. These young men continued to raise the standard all season long, and they should be incredibly proud of what they've accomplished.
Going undefeated and repeating as district champions is a legacy they'll carry with them for years to come. This team continued to rally after every challenge they faced and should be looked at as the ones to bring this tenacity and mindset to West Fork to continue the winning culture and 212 mindset that they have shown and started to build.
From Coach Wilkerson and I, it has been a honor and privilege to coach and guide these young men and we are excited to see what they accomplish at West Fork and in their future.
The A Team went out on their sword, competing with heart and determination until the very end. This group faced its share of challenges throughout the season, but continued to show up, battle, and represent the Falcons with pride. Football doesn't always give you the outcome you're looking for, but the lessons learned, adversity faced, and experience gained will help these young men moving forward. Their effort and willingness to compete deserve recognition.
As we close out this chapter of 8th Grade Football, it's hard not to be proud of this entire group. We've seen growth, resilience, brotherhood, and a commitment to getting better.
To the B Team, congratulations on an undefeated season and back-to-back district championships with the same group! That's an accomplishment that speaks for itself. To the A Team, thank you for continuing to fight and represent the program with pride.
